L2345 Member Sets State Powerlifting Record

IAFF Local 2345 would like to say congratulations yet again to Frank Domingoes. This is a picture of Frank doing his record setting deadlift at 700lbs. The competition was the SC
State Championship, held December 4th at Progressive Sports Gym in Columbia SC.
This competition brought 44 competitors from all over SC, NC, GA and Va. Frank beat out 12 others in his weight class/ raw division. He won first place overall, 242lb raw division. "Raw" means that no gear is used (equiptment, lifting suits, etc) to compete. Just the competitor and a belt. Frank set 2 new state records for the 242 class, the bench record set was 435lbs, and the deadlift record was 700lbs. Frank also set a new high overall total weight in his weight class with 1670 in 3 lifts.
